Final night of Level 1 Spanish

Last night was the end of my first term of Spanish Level 1, and I think I got more out of that one evening than most of the other nights. Ususally the lessons are constantly interrupted by the people who are heading off overseas during the next week, and wanted to know specific waords or sayings that related to them. Thus the teacher would digress from what was set out for us to learn.

Anyways, Willie boy while here from San Francisco a few weeks ago, bought me a CD of Spanish lessons, a Audio and Visual Phrasebook for the iPod that he also bought me, bless his cotton socks, and I have been listening and reading it while on the short train trip from the station to work. It had raised some questions with me from the way that its in this CD tutorial to the way we have learnt in class. Last night I arrived half an hour before class and so did the teacher, and this gave me the perfect opportunity to ask these questions. She spend that half an hour with a one on one lesson with me that allowed me to ee the light. It just made my night to actually learn something that was important, unlike the other guy in the class asking how to tell someone that he is 'cool' (thats with thumbs up).

Im looking forward to level 2 which starts in four weeks.
