Where has the time gone?

My god its been almost two years since I last left an entry on this thing. Here I was thinking that its going to be one of those things that I wouldn't be able to let fall to the wayside, and yet it lasted a couple of months if that. Lets see if I can get back on top of things here. :)

a fun few months spending time with good friends

The last few months have been fun, a lot of fun. Haven't done anything outrages, just spent time with friends and even moved from house to house as until I land a job in the States I'm avoiding committing myself to some long term lodging.

The night of my birthday I headed out to a cocktail lounge, Kuleto's, with my good friend Adam, Angela, Dean and his new boyfriend Valentyn, and another Adam. The second Adam is the owner of a house in Erskineville who has so kindly offered his place to me while he is away traveling around the world. It was great timing as my time at the previous house had run out and I needed somewhere to live.

The night out for my birthday was great. After cocktails we headed across the road to the Newtown Hotel. There we knocked back a few beers and made the walk down to the Imperial hotel for some more beers and a few drag shows. Not sure what time I left, but isn't that the point when its your birthday? The following morning I had to get up and get my shit together as I was driving up to Port Macquarie to see mum and dad again. It was Fathers Day on that coming Sunday and I thought it nice to spend my birthday and fathers Day weekend with them. I also had a lot of stuff that I needed to sort out and store at their place. With my intention of moving to San Francisco as soon as possible, I wanted to organise all my bags and be ready to go at the drop of a hat. It took me a good 12 hours to sort through and repack everything, and in hind sight I still have not thrown enough out to good will. I have so much stuff, mainly clothes, that I have ready to take with me. Do I need it all? I haven't worn most of it in a year and a half so why would I want to take it with me now? Both bags weigh close to 30 kilograms. I'm sure I could throw more out.

The weekend of the 7,8 and 9 September was the APEC long weekend. We had the Friday off and the usual gang met up at the Bank Hotel for an afternoon drink. It was a ton of fun as always. We met at lunchtime and come 9pm I was well and truely drunk and stumbled my way home.

On 26th September I flew back out to San Francisco for a mixture of business and pleasure. My friends Adam, Daren and Matt from Sydney were going to be in town for the Love Festival and for Folsom Street Fair. There was n going to miss out on that too. I was there for both last year and had a great time. This year thou there didn't seem to be the nudity involved as much as there was last year. Still we all got an eye full, some nice, some not so nice. Either way I love Folsom Street fair. THERE ARE PHOTO'S BELOW..........THERE ARE NAKED PEOPLE.

I was back in San Francisco for 3 weeks. was suppose to be there for only 2 weeks but I extended at the last minute as I thought I had some good job leads going. I was offered some work but it paid shit money. I realise that I may have to take a slight cut in pay to be able to go forward, but these salaries were a 50% pay cut, and no way Jose was I going to accept that. So I'll keep on trying but from a distance. I'll give it one more chance then after that I'll probably give up on the whole idea and stick with what I've got. At least I'm giving it a go.

I have been back at work now for 4 days, and nothing has changed. I sit here everyday entertaining myself by surfing the internet. Occasionally something comes up, but mostly its a yawn.
